Jazz – an American Bulldog

Today I will be informing you about the American Bulldog.  The American Bulldog is a type of working dog.  It has a stocky body, strong looking dog with a large head.  Its coat is short and smooth.  The colors are mostly white with patches of red, black and brindle. They drool more than some dogs.  They weigh between 60 and 100 pounds and are 20 to 28 inches tall.  They bound strongly with their owners.  They normally live 10 to 16 years.  In history, they were used by ranchers as farm dogs.  By World War II, the breed was near extinction.

My family used to have an American Bulldog named Jazz.  She was my favorite dog so far.  She liked to go camping and slept on my Mom & Dad’s bed.  Our American Bulldog did not drool that much.  She was lazy and had a spot on her eye.

If you are looking for a good family dog, try an American Bulldog.
